I began taking photographs on my iPhone for several reasons: 1. My phone is always with me; my camera is not. 2. Phones are light; cameras are not. 3. I am lazy.
It didn't take long for me to discover that the photos I was taking on my iPhone were often spontaneous, joyous representations of my vision. Upon discovering photo applications, the possibilities only increased.
Is it art? Honestly, I couldn't tell you. I get into a debate with myself frequently about whether photos taken on an iPhone can be considered art. But then I look at the images I am producing, and I stop worrying about it.
